The Mitsubishi Australia project involved a consolidation of their 3 separate businesses onto the one floor, which meant undertaking 3 design briefs to achieve a collective outcome.Read more
Some of the design features include an unmanned reception which caters to all 3 business entities. A custom-carpet inspired by the geometric, Mitsubishi logo captures the essence of the business’ corporate image from the moment you enter the tenancy.
To take advantage of the river views, the board and meeting rooms have been finished with glazed walls and positioned to capture the abundant natural light available. The main boardroom is finished with a striking American walnut timber complete with a feature coved backlit ceiling and fabric operable wall that opens the space into a generous meeting area.
Graphics representing the Mitsubishi brand have been applied in different areas and coupled with tailored fabric upholstery; the Mitsubishi culture is evident throughout the tenancy.
One of the standout features of this fitout is the staff breakout. This area is a multifunctional zone for internal and external meetings and is frequently used as a collaboration hub for staff and clients.
Working cohesively with Mitsubishi team, the entire project ran smoothly and ultimately provided what is now an exciting office environment.
Allianz Insurance’s decision to open their new Corporate Office in Perth presented InSite with an exciting opportunity to create an environment that reflected this company's position in the Australian insurance industry.Read more
In addition to the tight timeframe, one of the challenges for this project included working around the pre-existing fit-out and transforming it into a workable design which suited Allianz’s requirements. To achieve this, over 90% of the existing fit-out was changed in order to meet the new design. As branding was one of the critical drivers for this project, a new secure reception area was designed with the national logo prevalent on a custom made reception desk. The reception area is finished with a wood panelled wall, flush gyprock ceiling and feature lighting - creating a hospitable environment for visitors.
Using graphics synonymous to WA, a new breakout area was designed giving the area truly West Australian feel. In keeping with Allianz’s desire to capture its own unique WA image, the new boardroom, training rooms and meeting rooms were all named after WA rivers.
The final design has captured the essence of Allianz and created an environment which the Allianz team are proud to call their new home.
Land developer PEET has recently undergone a complete refurbishment over 2 levels of their office in QBE House on St Georges Terrace, Perth.Read more
A driving force behind the new design was to epitomise the nature of PEET’s business. To achieve this, InSite’s design team created some key design features.
Upon entry, visitors are greeted with a custom reception desk finished with a corian top. The flush reception ceiling features a timber panel inset which runs parallel to one of the front of house meeting rooms. Stylishly upholstered banquet seating lining the corridor creates a path of travel through to PEET’s boardroom area. Finally, the generous sized breakout is filled with vibrant loose furniture which can be reconfigured to meet the individual’s desired layout. This has created an informal environment for staff and client meetings.
In addition to the fitout, there were base build upgrades to be carried out within the tenancy adding to the complexity of this project. To manage this, a program was developed to show how the works could be integrated and staged so as not to impact PEET’s daily operation.
InSite successfully delivered this project so PEET experienced minimal interference to their business and ultimately, achieved their brief of providing a contemporary new environment to their staff and clients.

This opportunity was presented through a referral where a design had already been completed. Realising this layout did not meet the client's requirements, InSite's design team undertook a detailed brief and produced a layout conducive to a general medical practice, in line with current BCA and Health Regulations.
The final design included 12 consulting rooms, a treatment / procedure room, staff w/c and kitchen, storage areas, reception and a communications area. Each consulting room has been designed to allow General Practitioners to engage with patients in a pleasant environment equipped with medical beds, sinks and provision for research material. Signage, branding and feature carpet tiles have been used throughout the fitout to emphasise the Perth Specialist Centre brand. Particular consideration was given to the reception and waiting areas - which meant creating an area suitable for children and patients whilst maintaining a professional environment. Light colours and fabrics were used throughout to ensure all visitors and patients felt comfortable in the clinic.
The success of this project has resulted in InSite cementing our position as the preferred supplier for Perth Specialist Centre's future projects.
